Abstract
New Mexico State University Registrar from 1922-1961. Contains materials received and collected by Rentfrow. Among the collection are materials from the class of 1919, of which Rentfrow is an alumna, NMSU publications, materials relating to the dedication of the Rentfrow Gymnasium, and the book Hiram Hadley. These items are arranged alphabetically. Photographs in the collection are early images of the New Mexico College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts and images of the Mexican Revolution.

Biographical Sketch
Era Rentfrow first enrolled in the preparatory school at New Mexico College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts (NMCA & MA) in 1911. She received a diploma in 1915 and later that same year enrolled as a freshman along with twenty-three other students. She graduated in 1919, one of only ten graduates that year. In 1919, she joined the administrative staff of NMCA & MA. In 1922, she advanced from secretary in the office of the Dean of General Science to College Registrar. During World War II, Rentfrow kept records of all alumni who served in the war. After all her information was gathered she figured that over 2000 Aggies were called to service. Because of her outstanding and long time association with the college, in October of 1959, Rentfrow was honored at the dedicatory ceremonies of Rentfrow Gymnasium. She retired from her position in1961.
