Scope and Content
The collection contains a small amount of professional papers of retired US Air Force officer Robert Amsberry. The ledgers, climatological maps, papers, reports and slides all pertain to Amsberry's work in climate and meteorological studies, for, amongst others, the El Paso Natural Gas Company and his own firm of Amsberry Associates. Of particular interest is the papers labeled "California Smog File" with its reports on pollution in Los Angeles County from the 1960s. Also included are information and lecture notes from the American Institute of Aerological Research (AIAR) Training and Research Project.
