AV Materials, bulk: 1995-2013

 Series

Scope and Contents

This series includes multiple sub-series of each type / medium of presentation recordings. The earliest presentations were recorded on VHS tapes, camcorder tapes (often filmed on MP3, Sony, or Panasonic tapes), and audio cassette tapes. These recordings range from the first VHS tape of the very first presentation in May 1995 to the last audio cassette recording in October 2008 and the last camcorder video tape in December 2009. The later presentations (2003-2013) were recorded or transfered to CD Roms. Along with the multiple forms of presentation recordings, this series also includes photograph prints of the Club's board members, microfiche film, a short video reel, and two cases of nearly 500 slides that supplemented certain presentations. In addition, there are several slides that acted as visual aids for the quizzes given at the beginning of certain meetings. Before some presentations, members were encouraged to compete in a trivia quiz in which they had to identify local buildings or landmarks.
