This collection contains research conducted by Hart when he worked with Human Systems Research on submitting information to the National Register of Historic places, most notedly the Stage lines in White Oaks owned by the Urbaine Ozanne family and his sons. Research on Urbaine Ozanne and his family. Ozanne who ran the mail and passenger activities of Ozanne & Company. This had a significant impact on the growth of the southern New Mexico territorial mining frontier. Between July 1, 1886, and June 30, 1894, the corporation provided express and passenger service in addition to U.S. mail transportation for eight years. The business served as a conduit for trade and communication between White Oaks, New Mexico Territory, and other parts of the world. Contains newspaper clipping, photocopies of images from the collections of the Rio Grande Historical Collections, National Archives, and other archival repositories, some photographs, and some correspondence to and from Robert Hart.
