This series includes correspondence from 1989 to 2022 with weaving collectives, civil society organizations in Chiapas, the public in Mexico and the U.S., and Weaving for Justice volunteers and Steering Committees. The series contains most of the email communications that C. Eber has sent or received, but not those of other Weaving for Justice Steering Committee and volunteers. It does not contain WhatsApp communications with weaving collectives which became the preferred means of communicating after 2020.The following series contains: with weaving groups in Chiapas (1989-2022; (The main collective representatives with which Weaving for Justice has corresponded over the years are Flor de Margarita Pérez Pérez - she is Christine Eber’s comadre so they begin communications with “Comadre” - ; Lucia Pérez Pérez; Claudia Pérez Pérez; Edgar Guzman Jimenez; Barbara Schutz; and Rosalinda Santís Diaz.); with civil society organizations in Chiapas (1997-2022); with Steering Committee members and volunteers (1999-2022); with the public (1992 to 2022)
