Scope and Contents
This series of correspondence to John Cockrell were delivered in an A to Z file hardcase letterbox with a metal latch. The box was covered with a marble paper covering. The Roswell File box was manufactured by Cobean Stationary Co. John Cockrell was a Santa Fe attorney.
The letters in this series are filed in alphabetical order. In cases where a signature was unreadable, it was placed in the rear of the folder under the alpha index it was originally placed. Letter of historically known figures are noted in specific folders.
