Scope and Contents
Includes documentation of Manuel Garcia’s Notice of Allowance and several documents from the Department of the interior for homestead entry 042423. Only one document a handwritten note from Clement Hightower is in the Spanish Language, he states that he found papers late that he thought he had sent earlier to Manuel Garcia. Correspondence to J.M. Penfield on Clement Hightower states that he is a real estate surveyor, notary and Conveyancer, as well as a English- Spanish translator.
