Scope and Contents
Includes the manuscript of Tonta of the Holy Faith and four copies of the published play for the Archaeological Institute of America. One copy has a note to Merle stating, “The play is performed at various times over the state, at fiesta times usually, and I charge only $25 for each performance. MMB” a single sheet of paper titled Tradition from the Pen of Padre Martinez of Taos It is a translation of the revelation from Heaven received by the Priest Ramon Pena in 1617 about the church in , Santa Cruz de la Cañada New Mexico.
