Scope and Contents

There are nine boxes of alphabetized index cards which provide a record of Fall’s correspondents. They appear to represent the time that he spent in the Senate and as Secretary of the Interior. Many of these cards correlate with the letters and numbers on the original folders of correspondence and papers (Whenever possible the letters and numbers have been included in the descriptions on the new folders). There are three sets of cards. Some of the index cards are water damaged and in poor condition. Even though they have been cleaned, the cards may be used only with the assistance of the staff.
