Materials include letters sent and received, arranged chronologically. Funeral and death notices, and invitations to weddings and dances are also included. Topics covered include the French invasion of Chihuahua, Benito Juarez and Mexican President Porfirio Diaz. Family and household concerns also are addressed. Correspondents include J. N. Ruiz Refugio Ruiz de Amador, the Amador children, members of the Fountain, Lohman, Reymond, Cuniffe, and Armijo families, and Espirdio Provencio of Ciudad Juarez.
