Papers, photographs and other records collected by Kip Johnson (aka Jack Kline) related to the search for treasure at Victorio Peak, located in the San Andres Mountains, on the current White Sands Missile Range, northeast of Las Cruces, as well as other lost mines of the Southwest. The collection consists of 18 binders containing mostly copies of documents, maps, photographs, and lists pertaining to lost treasures, particularly the lost treasure at Victorio Peak and the work of the Ova Noss Family Partnership and others to rediscover and document the treasure. A large number of original photographs, most apparently made at the site, are part of the materials. Also included are two copies of a bound volume titled "Victorio Peak: The legend of 'Doc Noss' and its secrets," produced by the C. Andrews Corporation and containing documentation about the Victorio Peak treasure. Kip Johnson was president of the C. Andrews Corporation and wrote the introduction to the volume. One box contains nine wooden carved figures, resembling Catholic religious figures. Also included is a small notebook, handwritten in pencil, bearing the inscription "Feb. 25, 1912, Tucson Daily Star, Story by McDonald" containing stories and information about lost mines and treasures in Arizona and New Mexico.

Abstract
Nine wooden carved figures resembling Catholic saints or priests. Issue 22, page 15, of "Peak of the News," a newsletter published by the Ova Noss Family Parnership, shows a photograph of two of the figures with the caption, "Two of six wooden priest figures reported to have been found years ago in Hembrillo Basin. The owner, now an elderly man, allowed Jerry Cheatham to photograph them."
