Scope and Contents

Contains VHS videotapes, audio cassette tapes and microfilm. The videotape recordings depict fiestas, dances, rehearsals, religious ceremonies and other cultural activities mostly associated with Native American ceremonial events. Some are copies of historical films and some are recording made by Lyon and associates of his. Audio cassettes mostly are Lyon's own oral notes, recorded immediately after viewing an event or ceremony.
