Most of the items contained in this collection are photocopies. However, items in the Post Office folder are original documents covering the period in which Cosgrove was postmaster and Receiver of Public Monies.
Other items in the collection include receipts for Masonry dues and personal correspondence between Cosgrove, his wife and their daughter.
In the business transaction folder are deeds, receipts, promissory notes and contracts of rate.
