Scrapbooks (oversize), 1894-1983

Scope and Contents

Three of the scrapbooks contain written histories of the WIA along with historical material are designed as guides to the history of the organization. Most of the others were placed together to document the group’s activities throughout a specified time period and were entered as contestants in annual displays. These display scrapbooks exhibit more creative arrangement of materials and usually very ornate covers, often featuring hand-painted pictures or leather work. Arranged by type and chronologically.
