Scope and Contents
From the Collection:
The collection includes the grant documents for land that is now a wildlife preserve. Included are a document confirming the grant of the land to Antonio Sandoval on July 20, 1859, which includes a map detailing the land, and two pieces of correspondence. The correspondence, dated 1876, is from Arthur J.B. Maingay of Rotterdam surrendering his interest in the grant to John Collinson of London. There is a also a receipt for the land signed by Collinson.
