The Ringgold Barrack letter is handwritten from Major G. H. Crossmen at the Office of Army Clothing and Equipage in Philadelphia to Captain R. W. Potter at Schuykill Arsenal. The letter concerns the annual supply of Company D, 4th Regional Artillery stationed at Ringgold Barracks, Texas, and includes an itemized list of needed supplies.
