Chile Anecdotes, pamphlet, articles, fax, 1944-2011

 File — Box-Folder: 8:8
Identifier: Subseries

Scope and Contents

From the Series: This series consists primarily of research conducted by Dave DeWitt. Much of this research may have been used for DeWitt’s books and articles, but as this research lacked explicit ties to specific works by DeWitt, it was placed into a broader category of research. This series is divided into three subseries: Chiles, The Chile Pepper Kitchen, and Cuisines. The series is arranged alphabetically, and the subseries are organized alphabetically by subject, and chronologically within the subject where needed. The Chiles subseries consists of research focused on chiles. The Chile Pepper Kitchen subseries focuses on research required for the Chile Pepper Kitchen video project. The Cuisines research focuses on the cooking styles of different geographical locations. The series consists of newspaper and magazine articles, scholarly articles, handwritten notes, faxes, advertisements, illustrations, agricultural reports, booklets, book excerpts, newsletters, recipes, menus, pamphlets, bibliographies, and scientific studies.
