Scope and Contents

The subseries contains three types of materials. Seven folders contain foreign service materials that do not directly relate either to the Peace Corps or U.S.A.I.D. Four reels of microfilm contain Peña’s personal journals kept during his time in the foreign service as well as one scrapbook of news clippings and one photograph album. The original journals were loaned to the New Mexico State University Library for microfilming and then returned to Peña. Maps of the city of Asuncion and the country of Brazil are also included.
