Scope and Contents

This series contains the Myers' personal material from the publication of In Celebration of the Book for the 10th anniversary of the New Mexico Book League. The original letters from New Mexicans responding to the question "what three books impacted your life the most" are included; they have been retained in their original alphabetical order. Scrapbooks and albums of publicity, reviews and general commentary on the book are located here as well. Photographs from these scrapbooks and albums have been removed into the Images series. Of particular interest is the diary synopsis in "Scrapbook, 1980-1981" by Dwight Myers of the book from its conception to publication.
