Scope and Contents

This subseries includes letter books and business ledgers. There are entries in both Spanish and English. They are arranged chronologically. Significant topics are listed but this is not a complete description of each folder's contents. Materials found enclosed within the ledgers have been removed and placed in folders. These folders have been placed within the boxes. Some of the correspondence in the letter books may be related to other aspects of Bursum's life. The materials are very fragile and can be used only under the direct supervision of the archival staff. Access is limited.
