Scope and Contents

Business correspondence includes both regular and legal size documents. The contents of folders that had been saved together and labeled by Bursum have been left this way. This has been noted in the new title which begins with "saved as." Researchers should note that the contents are not always reflected in the titles. Some of the correspondence includes related papers, notices, and memorandums. Some significant topics or correspondents are noted but this does not include a complete listing of each folders contents. Typical topics include property leases, debts, accounts, livestock purchases, ranching, small holding land claims, taxes, grazing permits, and mining.
