Writing by J. Paul Taylor reflecting on the bombing of Pearl Harbor, written by Mr. Taylor on the afternoon of Sunday, December 7, 1941. Mr. Taylor was a 21-year-old student at the New Mexico College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts at the time and was spending the day with his family in Anthony, New Mexico, when news of the bombing was reported. The handwritten item addresses Mr. Taylor's feelings about the event. The accession also includes eight other letters and cards received by Paul and Mary Taylor over the years, and an invitation to the 100th birthday celebration of Mesilla resident Amelia Lopez Gamboa.
