19 cyanotype and black and white photographs taken in Cananea, Mexico during the Mexican Revolution. Depicted are men with guns, troops, a battle in the plaza and the aftermath, various buildings and street scenes. One panorama photograph is captioned as "Rebel troops on the march after taking Cananea Mar 24-1913". Vendor's description: Cananea, Mexico lies just south of the Arizona border. In June 1906, the employees of the Cananea Copper Company (an American owned company) went on strike. The strike turned into a major riot where twenty-three people were killed. On March 24, 1913 General Alvaro Obregon and his troops took Cananea during the Mexican Revolution.
