Bound manuscript containing music, prose, and photography titled "Cloudcroft" Six Characteristic Sketches with Analytical Annotations Composed by Frederick Reinhold Koch, Op.82. The volume contains an introduction by the author written March 1915, and a portrait of the creator with violin. It is divided into six "chapters" titled: "The Dawn," "Whispering Pines," "Mountain Cascades," "King Winter," "At the Lodge," and "The Voice of the Desert." Each section includes introductory text (typed), and tipped-in silver gelatin photograph, and the music written for piano in manuscript. Frederick Reinhold Koch was a resident of El Paso during the 1910s.
