Capitol Rebuilding Board, On February 5, 1895 an act was passed by the territorial legislature providing funds for the rebuilding of the territorial capitol which had been destroyed by fire on May 12, 1892. A five-member Capitol Rebuilding Board, appointed by the Governor, administered the reconstruction., 1895-1901.

Superintendent of Public Buildings 1853-1873. On January 12, 1853, the Legislative Assembly approved an act authorizing the construction of public buildings for the Territory which provided for a Board of Commissioners of Public Buildings and a Superintendent, appointed by the Governor to direct the erection and administration of public buildings. Miscellaneous correspondence, accounts and reports are arranged chronologically.
