Investigation of the Albert J. Fountain case, Thomas B. Catron was appointed by Otero, as Special Prosecutor to assist the Doña Ana County District Attorney in the prosecution of persons indicted for the murder of Judge Albert J. Fountain. Papers in this file consist of Catron's receipt for the governor's records in the matter and a transcript of the papers from the 3rd Judicial District Court, Doña Ana County in the case "Territory of New Mexico vs. John H.
