Lawrence Hitchcock served as Headmaster of the Los Alamos Ranch School from 1926 through 1942. The Hitchcock papers include information on the Los Alamos Foundation, the Waring School located in Pojoaque and the Los Alamos School in Taos, two attempts made to re-institute the Los Alamos School after 1943. The papers are a gift of Mrs. Hitchcock received through Peggy Pond Church.
