Four persons held the office of Attorney General during this year. William C. Reid was replaced by George W. Prichard in late April; Prichard resigned August 9, and Albert B. Fall was appointed by Gov. George Curry. Fall resigned early in December and was succeeded by James M. Hervey who held the position until March, 1909., 1907

There are no extant Letters Received prior to May 12, 1890. The title of Attorney General had been changed by the territorial legislature to that of Solicitor General on Feb. 15, 1889. From 1889 to 1895, Edward L. Bartlett held the position of Solicitor General.
