Scope and Content

President John Aragon established the New Mexico Highlands University Foundation in 1983. It was incorporated under the laws of the state of New Mexico in 1984. Its primary function is to provide critical resources for scholarships and other needs of the university that are not provided by state funding. As of 1999, the Foundation had assets of approximately $1.7 million. During the academic year 1977–1998, it generated revenues of approximately $800,000.

This collection includes reports and miscellaneous information on the fund-raising efforts of the Foundation.
