Margaret Herrera Chávez Collection

Content Description

The collection includes photos of Margaret Herrera Chávez, manuscript materials such as newspaper clippings, correspondence, and articles pertaining to Herrera Chávez, notes, inventories of art work, exhibit listings, scrap books, test wood cut prints, and ephemera. Also the collection holds large printed material such as laminated newspaper articles pertaining to Herrera Chávez's life as an artist and laminated wood cut prints. In addition to this collection there are fifteen woodcut prints that are housed in the permanent collection at the National Hispanic Cultural Center Art Museum. There are also three archival storage boxes of books in English and Spanish that will be cataloged and placed in the NHCC library.
