The contents are a combination of Virginia Couse Leavitt's personal library, scholarly research papers, personal archive, catalogs, periodicals, and the historic E.I. Couse archive which comprises original correspondence, documents, photographs, negatives, sketchbooks, ledgers, journals, unbound original drawings, books, and ephemera. Includes additional sub-collections such as the Rolshoven Family Papers, the Kibbey Whitman Couse Papers, the Chesta Wrenn Papers, and the Ernest E. Leavitt Papers. Many boxes contain administrative records of The Couse Foundation.
