Scope and Contents

The eighth series of the Lloyd H. New Papers consists of 21 folders from 1988-1989 and is divided into 2 sub-series: Administration and IAIA Mission Statement Project.
The first sub-series, Administration, contains 8 folders of meeting minutes, financials, and academic departmental information.
The second sub-series, IAIA Mission Statement Project, contains 13 folders of preliminary statements, a self-study report, a 1990 census report, Greg Cajete’s recommendation report, and the Mission and Planning Document, along with its five appendices by Lloyd New, Rena Swentzell, James McGrath, Dave Warren and Greg Cajete.
