Scope and Content From the Collection: The Collection includes nineteen original drawings of the guards at the Japanese American Internment Camp in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and of a prisoner of war camp in Seagoville, Texas done by Harold (Hal) E. West (1902-1968). There is a book entitled "A Local Santa Fe Bystander's View of the War Years and of the Japanese Internment Camp, 1941-1945" catalogued separately.
