Scope and Contents Affidavits made at the request of the King and Viceroy of New Spain prepared from official papers dealing with the founding of the Villas of Santa Maria de Grado (La Cañada) and San Phelipe de Albuquerque the pueblos of San Diego de Pujuaque and Santa Mariá de Gracia de Galisteo and the creation of a new presidio, Villa of Santa Fe, the year 1712. Included is a partially completed typescript copy in Spanish of the original manuscript.

Scope and Content From the Collection: Collection includes correspondence of Paul A. F. Walter while he served as Secretary of the School of American Archaeology and later the School of American Research during the years 1913-1917, 1921-1922, and 1925-1928. Also included is Walter's Correspondence while he served as President of the New Mexico Historical Society in 1933-1934 and later from 1936 to 1941.
