Biographical Information
An attorney from Bufallo, NY, Daniel McMillan (1848-1908) served in the New York state senate and was very active in the Republican Party, attending state and national conventions. He was also involved in many civic organizations. He was appointed Associate Justice of the Territorial Supreme Court for New Mexico in 1899 making his home in Socorro, Santa Fe, and Las Cruces. He and his wife Delphia had two sons, Ross and Morton, who worked for the Pecos, Jemez, and Taos Forest Reserves.
