Biographical Note

Richard Rudisill was the Curator of Photographic History at the New Mexico History Museum's Photo Archives. He is the author of Mirror Image: The Influence of the Daguerreotype on American Society and Photographers of the New Mexico Territory 1854-1912. He has taught at the University of Minnesota, the University of New Mexico, and the Art Institute of Chicago and also served as lecturer and consultant in photographic history to numerous schools and museums.
