Scope and Content
Collection consists of one tape cassette of ceremonies at the Palace of the Governors and a biography of the Compton family "It's a Long, Long Road," written by James C. Compton, Chief Justice of New Mexico in 1970. There are two mounted photographs, one of Judge Compton and one of the courthouse. ADDITION (June 2011): Celebratory telegrams and letters to Robert Martin; Laura Gilpin and Ansel Adams related notes and letters; "Friends of Photography newsletters (1971).
