First letter refers to wonderful story of Padre Padilla coming to the surface of Isleta Church each year, martyred by the Indians at La Gran Quivira "where Coronado left him."
Second letter [English] recites details on death of Padre Padilla, his reburial in Pueblo of Isleta, his exhumation, etc. Also describes legend of Spanish Princess who had ingested a frog.
