Thomas, an Indian student at Carlisle Barracks, possibly an adopted son, reporting on his progress at school; letters and reports on the Santa Fe Mission (Presbyterian); a metal plate invitation from Mr. and Mrs. William Breeding for an "at home" on June 11, 1879. (Breeding was Assessor of the District of New Mexico, later Attorney-General.)
