Including a letter announcing the birth of a son, Bradley Morris Thomas, on November 8, 1882; several letters to family members written by Esther Thomas; an 8 page undated narrative by Esther Thomas about her experiences in Santa Fe at the Court Martial hearings in 1872-1873 and her life at the post; an account, possibly autobiographical, by Esther Thomas, of a trip from Denver to Santa Fe, incomplete, no date, but possibly in 1870-1871.
