From the Collection: This collection is a series of handwritten manuscripts on Indians of the Southwest. Most pages are written in English, although some are in French (Salpointe's native language) and one essay is in Spanish. Topics covered include: dances, mythology, traits, and Indian wars. He focuses on the Apache, Navajo, Papago, Zuni, and Pueblo Indian tribes.
