Scope and Contents
Programs, brochures, meeting minutes, budgets, lists, short plays, and related materials concerning the Santa Fe Fiesta. Includes official and souvenir programs of the Santa Fe Fiesta and the Southwest Indian Fair from 1921, 1922, and 1923; a program from Charles Wakefield Cadman's opera Shewanis starring Muscogee singer Tsianina; a Santa Fe brochure from 1923-1924 by the Tourism Bureau of the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce; and a brochure for the Fred Harvey Santa Fe Indian Detour. Also includes minutes of the meetings of the Fiesta Council in 1926; Fiesta budgets; papers concerning the Native American performers Tsianina, Oskenonton, and Te Ata Thompson; and short plays titled "Advent of the Frontiersmen: Kit Carson, 1826" and "Revolution and Independence."
