Sandoval, which concerned the status of the Pueblo Indians of New Mexico and their relationship to the federal and state governments; correspondence with Donald D. Brand concerning his work as a professor in the Department of Archaeology and Anthropology at the University of New Mexico and his involvement with UNM and WPA (Works Progress Administration) projects at the archaeological sites of Chaco Canyon and Kuaua in New Mexico; and correspondence with Frederick Webb Hodge of the Bureau of American Ethnology concerning various archaeological, anthropological, historical, and ethnological topics.
