Correspondence concerning the following topics: the School of American Archaeology; the Museum of New Mexico; the Transcontinental Excursion of 1912 sponsored by the American Geographical Society of New York; the New-Old Santa Fe Exhibition; archaeological excavations at the site of Quiriguá in Guatemala; lecture tours; the Panama-California Exposition in San Diego, California; the restoration of the Palace of Governors; and various personal and professional matters. Includes correspondence with William Morris Davis, A. L. Kroeber, Richard W. Corwin, Hector Alliot, Clara D. True, C. T. Currelly, Ralph Emerson Twitchell, Gilbert H. Grosvenor, William Henry Holmes, John Peabody Harrington, John R. McFie, Wesley Bradfield, and others. Also includes a copy of "The Third Season's Work in Guatemala" by Edgar L.
