Ethel Stevenson was a court stenographer at the Santa Fe court. Her recordings were done in Pitman shorthand and not transcribed. Samples reviewed by persons knowledgeable in Pitman shorthand indicated that Ethel Stevenson's notes deal with land issues and land disputes.
