Scope and Content
From the Collection:
Collection consists of materials concerning William Fiedler and topics involving pharmacy. Material includes correspondence with pharmacists and pharmacies in New Mexico; articles by Fiedler and others on the drug "Antikamnia;" directories of pharmacists and pharmacies in New Mexico; records and minutes of meetings from the New Mexico Board of Pharmacy; and biographical materials on Fiedler and other pharmacists such as Charles Bernard Ruppe and Sister Rosa Agatha Berry. Fiedler's MA thesis, doctoral dissertation, research notes, and a transcript of a 1978 interview with Fiedler and Alberto Alarid on pharmacists in New Mexico history are also in this collection. In addition, 52 audio tapes of interviews with various people involved in pharmacy in New Mexico.
