Scope and Content

From the Collection: Collection consists of fourteen sheets of ink drawings by Rosa Margaret Curtis. The drawings of armor and weaponry used by the Spanish in the Southwest, are the original drawings used by her husband, Fayette S. Curtis, to illustrate his article on Spanish weaponry and armor.

These are described in more detail in the New Mexico Historical Review Vol. 2, No. 2, April, 1927 in the article written by F. A. Curtis, "Spanish Arms and Armor in the Southwest."
