Scope and Contents

Refers to letters to Dr. Bertha Dutton and Oliver LeFarge from Hotz on the subject of paintings on tanned skins. Also refers to manuscript being readied for publication comprising a diary of a Jesuit missionary in which frequent mention is made of F. Phillip Segesser. Also expresses interest in the "two paintings." Hotz says were sent to the Segesser family and have been preserved.
