This collection contains photographs taken by Carol Sullivan, an anthropologist, who did extensive research on the American Indian Movement (AIM), especially the 1973 occupation of Wounded Knee, at Pine Ridge, South Dakota. An addition includes photos related to Wounded Knee, S. Dakota, and research in Mexico.
A second, unprocessed, addition includes sketches by Carol Sullivan and others, along with exhibit material.
