Scope and Content The Haniel Long Collection was originally acquired by the late John Bennett Shaw from Haniel Long, a personal friend of many years. John Bennett Shaw was a collector of books and memorabilia on Sherlock Holmes.
Scope and Content This small collection contains correspondence, news clippings, programs, bibliographic citations to Long's works, and some typescripts of Long's poetry. The correspondence includes a SoundScriber disc which has been copied onto an audio cassette. Also included is some information about Rydal Press, and an envelope from Writers' Editions.
